"My first visit and I was impressed at this establishment. Very neat / clean, quick service with a positive atmosphere. Food was fantastic, prices were affordable(!!), portions - well, I did not have to eat again for many, many hours. Great place overall, very satisfied and cannot wait to go back when I pass through town."

"A really unique location. Inside of what appears to be an old house. Each room provides a separate dining area with authentic period decor. They also have a beautiful outdoor covered patio. We went for breakfast and I ordered French toast and hash browns. My partner ordered the omelette. While he said his was very good, my food did not come out hot. The hash browns were very dry and the French toast was chewy. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing but clearly it had been sitting on a counter somewhere for a few minutes before my server brought it to me. The iced tea was excellent and the service was average. Prices were very reasonable. I wouldn’t say that I won’t go back but it probably wouldn’t be my first choice for breakfast."

"Loveliest little spot in DeSoto! The food was scrumptious! Nice menu of some all time favorites as well as several dishes all their own. Excellent pricing and portions. Service was fast, very friendly and attentive! They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. We chose outdoor, the plants were fun, fountain a lovely touch and a few locals were hanging out Went on a Saturday morning, it wasn’t full but busy! Nice enough to know it’s a great eating spot but not too busy to want to leave! 10/10 we’ll be back!"

"I'm not sure if this place is a restaurant that dabbles in arts & crafts or an arts & crafts store that serves great breakfasts and lunches. Very unassuming from the outside but the inside is quirky and the meals are very good. I had the daily special of Mexican chicken lasagna and my friend had pork loin and the prices were very reasonable. Definitely a place to try sometime."

"What a lovely little place! The food was wonderful and the ambience is perfect. If you like something different then please give them a try! We dined on the patio. I had the southwest burger with broccoli soup and my husband had a pork tenderloin with tots. I believe this was the best broccoli soup ever!!! Everything was awesome!!! Oh, and I bought a plant."

"We had breakfast, indoors, and everything was absolutely perfect. (Even the coffee! I'm pretty picky where that's concerned, and am never thrilled with restaurant coffee, but I was this time!) The decor is adorable. Set in what was once apparently a 2 bedroom home with an addition, you have a choice of seating, and we chose the front room, with a country kitchen table and a rocking chair in the corner, (sweetly padded with an afghan and back pillow. I availed myself of that until our food arrived...quickly). The waitresses were attentive and friendly, and met our needs unobtrusively. Each room contains small gift store type items, some crafted by the owner, and the whole place is lush with plants (most available for purchase). Outdoor seating is interspersed among garden plants and a fountain provides gently sounds of moving water. Next time, if the weather is as good as this morning's, we'll dine out there. In both cases, you can choose to dine in a room with others, or to seclude yourself in a more private area. Suit yourself! All are welcoming and eye pleasing. Breakfast and lunch menus each include standard and more creative offerings."
